Alejandro De Benedictis

He is a professor of Tango of the Cultural Activities of the University of Geneva. “I have been teaching tango for 23 years and I am still in love with this extraordinary dance. It is a passion thatI am lucky to live and share,” Alejandro said.

He learnt the dance in his home country, before moving to Geneva, where he has been sharing the Argentine culture and making this unique music and dance available to everyone. According to Alejandro, Tango is unique because it involves sharing feelings, and a physical, sentimental and personal encounter with each other.

Alejandro believes that his teaching method makes Tango an easy, seductive, and exciting dance, paying special attention to the communication inside the couple and the relationship of the bodies. The synchronization of the couple favors magical movements on the dance floor or on stage.
